Currently I use an iPhone 5 with unlimited data, 1400 shared calling minutes, and no texting. I use Google Voice for texting, along with iMessages and Google Hangouts. With this JetPack, if I remove the nano-Sim card from my iPhone 5 and pop it in here--I can use shared data on my phone, laptop, and iPad. Mostly I want to be able to use the data on my laptop.
Caution: You should use a nano SIM to SIM adapter, but I eyeballed my nano SIM it and placed it in the SIM slot and allowed for where the spacer would put it and it worked fine. I have an adapter on order.
I up and download speeds over 7Mbps. I had a bit of trouble logging on to change my password--the password is visible if someone were to pick this up and hit a few buttons. I was unable to logon using the recommended method. http://my.jetpack
So I tried 192.168.1.1 and that got me right on and I changed the password. I may change it again as I don't like that anyone can pickup this device and read your password in seconds.
It works on one band or another--not both, I changed mine to the 5GHz band.
